This year’s Porchfest was bolder and sexier than last year! The word tapping around the JP neighborhood touts 10,000 people in attendance this past Saturday July 11. It was a thrill to have a huge group of enjoyable people sharing music and performance art. The most amazing folks opened their porches and their homes to performers and the public; my sincere thanks to all the organizers and hosts. A special thanks to Annie for making her porch extra welcoming! She was a guru of promoting, making posters, sharing food, offering chairs and being the best host in JP with after show snacks of cheese and some bottled treats from a few vineyards. Sometimes an event makes everyone glad to be part of the human race, and JP Porchfest has made the top of my performance list the last two years, lets do it all again in 2016! Enjoy summer!

It’s shaping up to be a great summer. Art and music Festivals in, Cape Cod, Lowell and Lancaster. A few new friends in Providence and some great farmers market organizers are keeping the music alive. Looking forward to another drive with the windows down, and another afternoon playing music in the shade of a tent on a green lawn. My only regret today is not being able to ride a bike to the market and still carry all this music equipment.

Join us this Saturday March 8th for an afternoon of literature and song. From 1-3pm at Tatnuck’s Bookseller, 18 Lyman St. Westborough MA.

A group of local authors and musicians will be reading and performing. This is a free event, open to all ages.
